16 soldiers hospitalized after accident at Quebec military base

Over a dozen soldiers were hospitalized on Tuesday afternoon following an accident at a military base in Quebec.
Capt. Hermione Wilson, a public affairs officer for the Canadian Armed Forces, reported that the incident occurred at Canadian Forces Base Valcartier.
According to Wilson, the accident took place in the base’s training area and involved two armoured vehicles.
Both civilian and military emergency services responded swiftly to the situation.
Wilson confirmed that 16 members of the 5 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.
CFB Valcartier is located near Quebec City.
