A 36-year-old man, a 21-year-old and two youths are now also facing multiple charges in connection to a Peel Regional Police investigation, which now includes a second vehicle reportedly stolen on Sept. 6.
Four individuals, including two youths, have been charged following the release of a video this month that allegedly shows a woman stealing a Porsche from someone’s driveway.
A 36-year-old man, a 21-year-old, and two youths are now facing multiple charges as part of a Peel Regional Police investigation, which has expanded to include a second vehicle reportedly stolen on September 6.
The viral footage of the incident, which garnered hundreds of thousands of views, was released by Peel police on September 18.
Police allege that the woman in the video, identified as 18-year-old Sarah Bradshaw, can be seen driving off in a Porsche Cayenne and then backing into the owner near Winston Churchill Boulevard and Eglinton Avenue in Mississauga. After the incident gained attention, police reported that Bradshaw eventually turned herself in and was formally charged.
Peel police have since recovered both the stolen Porsche Cayenne and a BMW X5, which they state is connected to the same investigation.
Additionally, four other individuals are facing charges in this case.
The 36-year-old, identified as Rainer Herschel Fernando, is charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, possession of an automobile master key, and obstructing a police officer.
The 21-year-old, Steven Giselle Lopez, is also facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime and possession of an automobile master key.
The two youths, whose names are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, have been charged with possession of property obtained by crime.
As for Bradshaw, she was released on bail twice earlier this week and is prohibited from driving or possessing vehicle keys while she awaits her next court appearance.
