A woman is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in Mississauga and rushed to the hospital.
Peel Regional Police (PRP) reported that officers responded to the incident near Burnhamthorpe Road and Cawthra Road around 5 a.m. on Wednesday.
The female pedestrian was struck and sustained severe injuries. The driver stayed at the scene.
As part of the investigation, Burnhamthorpe Road has been closed between Cawthra Road and Westminster Place.
