Air Canada signs codeshare agreement with European airline airBaltic
Under the deal, Air Canada’s marketing code will be placed on 10 routes operated by airBaltic, allowing travellers to fly to Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania on a single ticket.
Air Canada and airBaltic have announced a codeshare agreement aimed at simplifying travel between Canada and the Baltic states.
As part of this agreement, Air Canada’s marketing code will be applied to 10 airBaltic-operated routes, allowing travelers to visit Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania on a single ticket. These routes include flights to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania; Riga, the capital of Latvia; and Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, connecting from various European cities such as Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and Stockholm.
Additionally, airBaltic’s marketing code will be used on two Air Canada routes from Toronto to Copenhagen and Amsterdam.
These changes will take effect for travel starting November 6. Furthermore, airBaltic’s marketing code will be added to Air Canada’s seasonal flights next summer from Montreal to Copenhagen and Amsterdam, as well as from Toronto to Stockholm.
