The rain eased early Wednesday, though there remains a chance of scattered thunderstorms later in the day, which could result in an additional 2-5 millimetres of rainfall.
Sunshine is expected to return on Thursday, with Toronto's forecast showing a high of 22°C and a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures will cool slightly on Friday, with a high of 20°C and similar conditions.
