‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ scares off ‘Transformers’ for third week as box office No. 1

The Tim Burton sequel "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" topped the North American box office for the third consecutive weekend, earning $26 million.
It narrowly beat out the new animated release "Transformers: One," which brought in $25 million and features voices from Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, and Scarlett Johansson.
"Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" has grossed over $226 million domestically and $329.8 million globally since its release.
In third place, the horror film "Speak No Evil," starring James McAvoy, earned $5.9 million, bringing its total to $21.5 million.
Other notable mentions include "Deadpool & Wolverine," which has accumulated $627 million domestically, and "The Substance," a body horror film that made $3.1 million in its opening weekend.
