A motorcyclist in West Vancouver was killed in an overnight crash, police say.

The incident happened along Marine Drive near Ocean Place in the district’s Eagle Harbour neighbourhood.

While details are scarce, Sgt. Chris Bigland tells 1130 NewsRadio police were on scene investigating.

Drivers were being asked to avoid the area, however, Marine Drive reopened to traffic just before 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
