Car smashes into Abbotsford camp
The driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution. Police also confirmed that no additional injuries were reported.
A car veered off the road and into an encampment in Abbotsford on Tuesday morning.
The Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) confirmed the incident to 1130 NewsRadio shortly after 7 a.m. Callers reported that the crash occurred near the Highway 1 and Peardonville Road overpass.
According to AbbyPD, the vehicle rolled over a tent, but fortunately, no one was inside at the time. The driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution. Police also confirmed that no additional injuries were reported.
