Car torched in Montreal North
Emergency services were dispatched to Maurice-Duplessis Blvd. around 2:30 a.m.
Montreal police are searching for at least one suspect after a car was set on fire early Monday in Montreal North.
Emergency services responded to Maurice-Duplessis Blvd. at around 2:30 a.m. after receiving a report of the burning vehicle.
The fire was swiftly put out.
“Based on our preliminary information, at least one suspect ignited the vehicle and fled before police arrived,” said Montreal police spokesperson Antony Dorélas.
A crime scene was established at the location, and the vehicle was later towed for further investigation. As of Monday morning, no arrests had been made.
