In a clip shared by the New York Post from Kelly’s SiriusXM show, the conservative commentator criticized Collins harshly, calling her “a cold-hearted bitch” and sarcastically offering a “pro tip” for improvement.
Kelly played a segment where Collins appeared on Bill Maher’s “Real Time” and defended CNN’s fairness while suggesting that Democratic nominee Kamala Harris should engage more with the media.
Kelly used this to illustrate what she saw as Collins' bias, showing clips of Collins accurately correcting Donald Trump on the 2020 election and highlighting other CNN content to dispute Collins’ claim of fairness.

In the clip captured by the New York Post, Kelly criticized Collins’ defense of CNN’s coverage, saying, “I will submit to the record, her biggest sin is not that she is biased, though she is; it’s that she’s boring, she’s extremely boring with no personality.”
Kelly continued, “I have a pro tip for her: Smile. Try smiling every once in a while. Try not to be, like in your delivery, such a cold-hearted bitch all the time, because it gives people nothing to bond to. You can be a tough interviewer and also have some warmth.”
