After an attack at Pembroke High School, 5 teenagers are facing repercussions

Five teenage girls are facing repercussions following an assault at a Pembroke high school.
The incident involved a group of girls assaulting a 15-year-old female student, who sustained minor injuries.
Ontario Provincial Police initiated an investigation on September 11 after the assault was reported.
With assistance from school officials, police identified the five teens involved. Two of the girls, aged 15 and 16, have been charged with assault and will appear in Youth Court in Pembroke.
The other three, aged 16 to 17, will face extrajudicial measures under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The parents of the teens have been informed.
