Justin Trudeau to replace departing Pablo Rodriguez with Anita Anand in minor cabinet shuffle
Anand will do double duty for now, and Trudeau has not ruled out making further changes in the weeks ahead, the Star has learned.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is expected to announce a minor adjustment to his cabinet on Thursday afternoon, following the departure of Transport Minister Pablo Rodriguez. According to the Star, Trudeau will appoint Treasury Board President Anita Anand to take over the transportation portfolio in addition to her current responsibilities.
Additionally, Trudeau will appoint Public Services and Procurement Minister Jean-Yves Duclos as his Quebec political lieutenant, a position previously held by Rodriguez.
