Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel closed this weekend
Starting on Nov. 18, northbound traffic on Highway 25 will be rerouted onto newly installed concrete slabs between the Souligny interchange and Sherbrooke Street.
The Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel will be closed from Friday through Sunday, as announced by the Transport Ministry.
These closures are necessary to set up a work zone in the middle of the highway, between the Souligny interchange and Sherbrooke Street, for the construction of a central median.
Additionally, maintenance and inspection work will be conducted within the tunnel.
