Man dead, son arrested after alleged stabbing at Toronto home

Toronto police have reported that a man is dead and his adult son has been taken into custody following an alleged stabbing.

Officers responded to a call around 11 p.m. regarding a stabbing at a residence in the city’s east end, near Finch Avenue and McCowan Road.

Upon arrival, police discovered the injured man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say the man's 32-year-old son was arrested in connection with the incident.

The homicide unit is now investigating the case.
