Man dies after drowning in Cote Saint-Luc

An 89-year-old man died after drowning in an indoor swimming pool at a condo in Côte Saint-Luc on Monday.
According to Montreal police (SPVM), they received a call to 911 around 2:10 p.m. about an unresponsive person found in an indoor pool at a residential building on Norwalk Road, near Shalom Ave.
Once officers arrived at the scene, they began CPR until paramedics arrived.
However, the man’s death was confirmed at the scene.
The investigation was transferred to the coroner’s office.
