Man fatally struck by pick-up truck in Montreal
According to SPVM spokesperson Caroline Chèvrefils, the collision happened as the pickup truck, which was towing a trailer, was exiting a parking lot.
A 38-year-old man tragically lost his life after being struck by a pickup truck in Montreal’s Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough on Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred around 8:45 p.m. on Bossuet Place near Bossuet Street.
Montreal police (SPVM) responded to the scene, finding the man severely injured. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition but, unfortunately, later succumbed to his injuries.

Police interviewed the driver, a 40-year-old man, and potential witnesses at the scene. Investigators have established a perimeter around the area to examine the circumstances that led to the fatal accident.
