Man in Montreal hit by car
The 30-year-old female driver involved in the accident was unharmed.
An 82-year-old man sustained serious injuries after being struck by a car while crossing the street in Ahuntsic-Cartierville on Wednesday night.
Montreal police (SPVM) received multiple 911 calls around 11:20 p.m. reporting the incident at the intersection of Papineau Avenue and Sauriol Street.
Upon arrival, officers found the man conscious but with upper body injuries. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The 30-year-old female driver involved in the accident was unharmed.
According to the SPVM, the driver was heading west on Sauriol Street and made a left turn onto Papineau Avenue when she hit the pedestrian. The investigation is still ongoing.
