Metallica announces world tour, Toronto the only Canadian stop

Metallica has revealed the dates and cities for its M72 World Tour, with 21 North American shows scheduled for next year, including two performances in Toronto—the tour's only Canadian stop.

The band is set to play at the Rogers Centre in Toronto on April 24 and April 26, 2025.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting at 10 a.m. on September 27, with pre-sales taking place on September 23 and 24, as announced by Ticketmaster.

In addition to Toronto, several concerts will occur across the U.S. in April, May, and June. The full list of dates and cities is provided below.

The M72 World Tour, which began in April 2023 in Amsterdam, is entering its third year, continuing its record-breaking run.

Live Nation Canada confirmed the 2025 tour will follow the “No Repeat Weekend” format, where each night of the two-show sets will feature different setlists and opening acts.

Support for the 2025 North American leg of the tour will include Pantera, Limp Bizkit, Suicidal Tendencies, and Ice Nine Kills, according to Live Nation's press release on Thursday. Toronto’s shows will feature all these acts across both dates—Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies on April 24, and Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills on April 26, 2025.

The M72 2025 tour will also include stops in Australia and New Zealand.
