Montreal police discover loaded gun during traffic stop
The officers also found a box full of ammunition.
On Friday night, police officers from Lachine’s Quartier 8 station seized a fully-loaded revolver from a car they stopped in Montreal West. Along with the firearm, they also found a box of ammunition.
At around 4 a.m., officers pulled over a car driving erratically on Avon Rd., near Ballantyne South Ave. Inside the vehicle were three men and one woman. A check revealed that two of the four occupants had outstanding arrest warrants.
While searching the car, officers found the loaded revolver in the trunk along with the box of bullets. The gun was confiscated, and all four individuals in the car were arrested.
