Montreal police want help to find missing 11-year-old girl

Montreal police are seeking the public's assistance in locating an 11-year-old girl, Jahan Mamun, who has gone missing.

Jahan was last seen on Sunday around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Bélanger and François-Boivin streets in the Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve area.

Authorities believe she may be in the company of a negative influence, and her family is concerned for her safety.

Police describe Jahan as having a dark complexion, though she is considered white. She is approximately four feet three inches tall, with brown eyes and brown hair, and is fluent in French.

She was last believed to be wearing a short grey shirt that exposes her navel, grey pants, and black shoes.

Anyone with information about Jahan's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact their local police station.
