Loic Kwemi has been named the Futsal Player of the Year by Canada Soccer after finishing as the second-highest scorer at the 2024 CONCACAF Futsal Championship.
The 27-year-old from Montreal netted six goals in three games, helping Canada reach the quarterfinals of the tournament in April in Managua, Nicaragua. Canada was eliminated after a 3-2 loss to defending champions Costa Rica, a match Kwemi missed due to suspension.

In outdoor soccer, Kwemi contributed a goal in CS Saint-Laurent’s penalty shootout victory over HFX Wanderers FC in the Canadian Championship in May before joining Winnipeg’s Valour FC in late June. He made 14 appearances for Valour.
