Authorities did not disclose additional information regarding when or where Dalgleish was apprehended.
Earlier in the day, police reported that Dalgleish escaped through the fence around 9:30 a.m. and managed to evade correctional officers who were pursuing him.
Dalgleish was in custody awaiting trial on charges of assault and breaching release orders.
Police indicated that patrol officers conducted searches in the area with assistance from a canine unit and a drone, and they also established vehicle checkpoints in the effort to locate the escaped inmate.
