Numerous injuries have been reported in two different Highway 401 collisions close to Guelph
In a separate incident on the highway, another collision occurred involving two commercial vehicles and a passenger van.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have reported multiple injuries following a multi-vehicle collision on the westbound lanes of Highway 401 near Guelph.
Mississauga OPP officers were alerted to the serious crash just west of Highway 6. The incident involved two vehicles, a transport truck and a car.
One of the drivers was transported to a trauma center with serious injuries. Westbound lanes are currently closed, with traffic being diverted at Highway 6 North.

One driver was airlifted to a trauma center via Orange helicopter, while another was transported to a trauma center by ambulance.
All westbound lanes at Guelph Line remain closed as the investigation continues.
