OC Transpo bus driver charged with careless driving in three-vehicle crash on Queensway

A bus driver for OC Transpo has been charged with careless driving after a three-vehicle collision on the Queensway Sunday afternoon, according to police.
The charge carries a fine of $490 and six demerit points if the driver is convicted, as reported by provincial police.
The incident took place on westbound Highway 417 between Metcalfe Street and Bronson Avenue shortly after 1 p.m.
Paramedics evaluated several individuals at the scene, but no serious injuries were reported.
As the collision was investigated, traffic was restricted to one lane.
