Calgary police are searching for a driver involved in a hit-and-run that injured a man in a wheelchair in southeast Calgary.
The incident occurred near 162 Avenue SE and Shawville Blvd SE at around 1:55 p.m. on September 30.
The man was struck by an SUV, causing his wheelchair to tip over. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver allegedly fled the scene without reporting the collision to the authorities.
Police have released a security image of a maroon or dark-colored SUV, which was last seen heading west on 162 Avenue SE.
They are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage from the area around the time of the crash to contact them.
