Police chase through Longueuil leaves officers searching for suspects
Longueuil police (SPAL) says it received a call from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) at 2:45 a.m. Thursday, asking for assistance.
Police are searching for one or more suspects following a car chase that ended in a crash in Longueuil's Saint-Hubert borough.
According to Longueuil police (SPAL), they were contacted by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) at 2:45 a.m. on Thursday for assistance.
The chase began near Taschereau Boulevard and Highway 116 and concluded in the area of Kimber and Maricourt boulevards.
"A scene is still in place," said François Boucher, spokesperson for Longueuil police.
Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area around Maricourt, Kimber, and Gaétan-Boucher boulevards while the search for the suspects continues.
