Police arrested a driver who fled after crashing into a home in midtown Toronto on Tuesday evening.

Officers were called to the Oakwood Village area, near Winona Drive and Holland Park Avenue, around 8:30 p.m. after receiving reports of the crash.

According to police, three passengers in the vehicle attempted to flee but were arrested at the scene and later released.

The driver, who fled on foot, was eventually apprehended by responding officers and is expected to face charges.

No serious injuries were reported, and police believe speed was a contributing factor, as the driver lost control of the vehicle.

Authorities also confirmed that the car was not stolen. Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.
