Prince Harry unexpectedly attends Grey Cup in Vancouver
This year's event in British Columbia will introduce winter sports for the first time, including sit-skiing, sit-snowboarding, curling, biathlon, and skeleton.
Prince Harry made a surprise appearance at the Grey Cup in Vancouver on Sunday, ahead of the matchup between the Toronto Argonauts and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Before the game, he was seen on the sidelines, greeting fans in the stands and participating in an interview with TSN’s James Duthie.
The Duke of Sussex is in Vancouver to promote the upcoming Invictus Games, scheduled to be held in Vancouver and Whistler from February 8 to 16.
Prince Harry launched the Games in 2014 to provide wounded, injured, or sick service members and veterans from around the globe an opportunity to compete in various sports.
This year's event in British Columbia will introduce winter sports for the first time, including sit-skiing, sit-snowboarding, curling, biathlon, and skeleton.
The competition will see over 500 athletes representing 23 countries.
