Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, has been in the music scene for over 20 years but has recently gained wider recognition with hits like “Son of a Sinner” and “Need a Favor.”
His first official Canadian performance took place in Ontario this past July.
The singer, known for blending country and rap, has been open about his troubled past, which once prevented him from performing internationally due to a criminal record involving drug charges.
Earlier this year, he spoke candidly before a U.S. Senate Committee, sharing his experiences with addiction and his past as a drug dealer while advocating for anti-fentanyl measures.
Tickets for the tour go on pre-sale Tuesday at 1 p.m., with general sales starting Friday at 10 a.m.
