Thieves demand keys then assaulted victims with weapons in South Keys

Ottawa police are investigating two robbery and carjacking incidents involving the same pair of suspects and are seeking assistance from the public.
The first incident occurred on November 3 around 9:15 p.m. in a parking lot on the 2200 block of Bank Street. According to police, suspects approached a victim, demanding their car keys. When the victim attempted to escape, they were assaulted with weapons. The suspects drove off with the vehicle, which was later recovered by officers the following day near Bank Street and Lester Road.
A second incident happened on November 7 at approximately 11:20 p.m., also along Bank Street in the 2400 block. Similar to the first case, the suspects demanded the victim’s keys and assaulted them when they tried to flee. However, in this instance, the suspects left the scene without taking the vehicle.
Both victims suffered physical injuries, and police report that the suspects' descriptions in both incidents are consistent.
The suspects are described as Middle Eastern males between 18 and 20 years old, both approximately 5'8" tall, and speaking English without an accent.
The first suspect was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants, a black Under Armour jacket with the logo on the front, a black toque, and black shoes with a white stripe.
The second suspect wore a brown hooded sweatshirt with markings on the front, a shiny black jacket, black shoes with white trim, and a black balaclava.
