Trudeau to attend second day of G20 summit, return to Ottawa
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is participating in the final day of the G20 summit in Brazil. He is scheduled to attend a working session focused on sustainable development and energy transition, and will also address the media.
Trudeau will take part in the summit’s closing session and a farewell luncheon hosted by the Brazilian president.
Following the summit, the prime minister will return to Ottawa, where the House of Commons has reconvened after a week-long break.
During the first day of the summit, Trudeau engaged with global leaders, including a nearly half-hour discussion with U.S. President Joe Biden. This meeting may be their last before President-elect Donald Trump takes office in January.
