Two Calgary police officers injured in crash
Police told 660 NewsRadio the pair of officers in the CPS vehicle were hurt, but didn’t specify on the nature or severity of the injuries.
The area around the Calgary Stampede grounds was plugged up for a few hours due to a crash involving a police cruiser Monday evening.
Pictures from the scene show a Calgary Police Service (CPS) SUV with significant damage to its back end and all its air bags deployed.
The other vehicle involved in the crash, a white SUV, was also severely damaged.
Police told 660 NewsRadio the pair of officers in the CPS vehicle were hurt, but didn’t specify on the nature or severity of the injuries.
The occupants of the second vehicle weren’t injured, police say.
The investigation into the crash continues.
