Two suspects arrested in pair of carjackings in south Calgary
Police say one of the suspects broke a window during one of the carjackings.
Two suspects are under arrest after a series of carjackings in south Calgary on Monday afternoon.
Calgary police tell CityNews there were two carjackings in the area of Centre Street South and 58 Avenue between 4:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
Responding officers arrested two men before they were able to leave the area, police say, and the stolen vehicles are being recovered.
Police say one of the suspects broke a window during one of the carjackings.
No injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
