Woman dies in Abbotsford after being hit by a vehicle
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Police do not believe impairment was a factor in the incident, according to Stele.
The Abbotsford Police Department reported that a woman was fatally struck by a vehicle on Tuesday morning.
Officers responded to a call shortly after 6 a.m. about a pedestrian hit near Gladys Avenue and Cyril Street. Constable Art Stele stated, "Upon arrival, officers found a 60-year-old woman with life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, she did not survive."

Gladys Avenue is currently closed as police continue their investigation. Authorities are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area to contact the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225.
