Worker killed in Thurso, Que.
Police say victim pronounced dead at hospital Tuesday
According to provincial police, a man died while working in Thurso on Tuesday.
The Sûreté du Québec informed Radio-Canada that they were dispatched to a business on rue Galipeau in the small city east of Gatineau around noon.
Police suspect that granite slabs fell on the worker.
The individual was declared dead at a hospital, and a police investigation is currently underway.
The names of the victim and the business have not been disclosed. Radio-Canada has reached out to Quebec's CNESST, the province's workplace safety authority, for a response.
